With the pending of their forth coming studio album Evolution this 2012 after the spilt over six years, Sia Boss checks in with Kora award winning Christian pop RnB music group and Africa’s most famous MAKOMA on account of their reunion. The musical band which made up of six siblings (three brothers and three sisters, Annie Makoma, Duma Makoma, Pengani Makoma, Martin Makoma, Tutala Makoma and a non family member Patrick Badine ). They talked to us what they have been up to duiring the unexpected break-up over the years and how they cope without younger sister and lead singer Natalie Makoma who left in 2004 for a solo career and took part in the Dutch Idols 4 in 2007 ending as runner-up.

Sia Boss: I am Sia and would like to say thank you for this interview. I personally like Makoma band, so I feel honored having you guys.
Makoma Group: Thanks. Its a pleasure for us to be here today.

Sia Boss: I understand Natalie left and you all live in different European countries, is it easy working together again?
Duma Makoma: Yes it is. It's now we are even more stronger alignment necessary than before which bring us from this point more together.

Sia Boss: What brought the reunion of Makoma after such a long time?
Duma: We were never away, we were just waiting to be with you in this interview today. [laughs]

Sia Boss: Can you tell me how the band was formed?
Tutala: I formed the group originally and we had daily vocal and dance trainings to achieve what we present today. The break through for us as Makoma was 1999 when our first big album Jesus for Life released.

Sia Boss: What have you all been up to during the separation?
Tutala: It been all about family during the break. A time came in our lives for us to start our own families. So everyone in Makoma moved to different countries funnily. Duma & I are in the UK, Annie, Pengani and Patrick in Belgium and Martin in the Netherlands.
Now that is time, we felt ready to be back on stage with more power and share the developed experiences which reflect our songs of the new album.

Sia Boss: Being one of the most popular Gospel group in whole of Africa, how does that feel for you guys?
Pengani: Its great to see this success about our Gospel songs. We are happy that so many people love the songs and the messages we present  them with. We wish that 2012 will give our songs a new sucessful story.

Sia Boss: Amongst you six, who is the group leader?
Annie: It's Duma and he is the elder brother in Makoma. As you know that we are also one family.

Sia Boss: Now that you all are adults have your families, how will you manage as band?
Patrick: Going forward Philipp Bauss manage all concert, TV and Interview request. He is a really good Manager and really supportive.

Sia Boss: Can you describe individual’s character in a short form?
Martin: [Laughs] Duma is the big light in the group, Tutala represent the Rap and coolness of the Makoma, Patrick is our Raga soul, I am the choreographer, Pengani is our Tina Turner with a powerful voice and Annie brings the sweetness inside the songs.

Sia Boss: Should we believe there isn’t going to be another split soon?
Tutala: Not now and in the future.

Sia Boss: What message do you have for Makoma fans out there and where can they own a copy of Evolution?
