United Nations Extends UNIPSIL’s Mission In Sierra Leone

The United Nations "UN" Security Council today held a debate on the Situation in Sierra Leone following the release last week of the Ninth Report on the United Nations Integrated Peacebuilding Office in Sierra Leone by the UN Secretary General , Mr. Ban Ki-Moon.

 During the debate, the newly-appointed Executive Representative of the UN Secretary General, Mr. Jens Anders Toyberb-Frandzen ; the Chair of the UN Peacebuilding Commission Sierra Leone Country Specific , Ambassador Guillermo E. Rishchynski of Canada and the Permanent Representative of Sierra Leone to the UN, Ambassador Shekou Touray delivered statements.
