This act took place when the crowd were expecting Maada Bio, party leader of the political party SLPP when a Maazda Millenia with registration number AEI 996 which recognised as a private car smashed into them during the evening hour of 9.30 PM and left many severely hurt.
The car identified as black and was coming from the Magburaka direction heading to Makeni as the crowd gathered by Makump junction in the Bombali district when the driver penetrated the vehicle’s headlight on them as they were waiting and suddenly switched the light off. The driver who currently is in police detention, two times in a role ran into the people.
Three among the victims are seriously injured and having intensive medical care, while one of the dead identified as Abu Jalloh from the neighbouring village.
I think this is sad and very irresponsible for anyone to involve in such act. Come on, these are human lives and not animals. Even animals have the right not to be treated as such.
