Sierra Leone has lost one of its Golding Hero once again. This time is another devoted worker Augustine Baker, who strives timelessly to serve our Nation. Mr Baker was a staff member at the St George Foundation, a UK founded charity that works with children for the past 10-years.
He was found positive of the Ebola virus around last week after he became very ill and unfit to make it to his work place.
According to BBC reporter for Sierra Leone 'Umaru Fofana', he was a man who was highly committed to his work at all times. Through the pandemic, he could go miles in search of children who are orphaned by the crises. He was the type that will never look back as he made sacrifices.
Augustine Baker unfortunately couldn't survive the deadly disease and APCtimes broke the sad news on their website.
He is seen as a national hero like Lt Virologist Dr. Sheik Umar Khan, who dies of the virus the same way.
Everyone who associated with the home have been locked in a quarantine, Mr said Fofana.
