After countless requests to Google Blogger before creating Now Latest, they finally released contents two days ago from my previews blog. Yep, an hasty decision was made by deleting it. Hence I've identified blogging is part of me, I will love to re-share it again. This is and Interview way back 2011 with singer Hey Adama. Cheers!

Nearly two months wait but worth every single patience. It was really such an amazing interview with this young stunning princess. Heyden Adama Bangura last night. The 'Fit in Gbet' singer spoke about her life, her passion for music, why she gained more interest in the music field than modelling and what her family think about her musical career.

Q : I am very happy to have an interview with you today.
Hedey: You are most welcome

Q : People are so crazy about Fit in Gbet, that is a very good thing for an artiste. what inspired you to write this song?

Heyden: Fit in Gbet is awesome! When we first recorded it, I was dancing because it was my first time ever being in Sierra Leone, after coming here almost nine (9) years ago.
When we went to the studio, I just wanted to do something and the guy who made the beat came up with the title. That was where we started and I thought it was really cool. So we worked it from there on. Fit in Gbet means “it perfectly fit, you and I fit perfectly”, that’s very much what it's saying.
To be quite honest I didn’t even know what that meant, but someone had to sit me down to explain to me in Krio and in English for me to understand. Now I’m in love with the song, too.

Q : Who is Heyden Adama? Tell us you background!

Heyden: I was born in Kono but I am a Kono born, My Mother is Fatimata Kamara and my Father is Sanfar Bangura. I grew up at Brema Lane area and I have two siblings, both female and
I'm the eldest .
After the Civil war I was adopted through an organization call Always One, which run by my adopted Mother here in the States. So I schooled in the US and did music alongside. I did live performances at the time and then I knew music was something I wanted to do. I am passionate about it and pursued it.

Q : What makes you decide to do music?

Heyden: I don't know if I can say. It took place at the wrong time or the right time. It happened when I went back to Sierra Leone for the first time in 2009. I didn't really do anything but I thought about wanting to do something. At the time, I was so exited to see my biological family once again, that I didn't prompt do anything by then.
On my second visit, was when I really did music when one of my adopted brother past away in the US and we took his body back to Sierra Leone. It was such a difficult time for all of us because he was huge in music. They are triplet and]all of them are into music with unpublished materials.
Their dream is to become Sierra Leone super stars and you will hear them one day.
So Fit in Gbet was recorded during the funeral visit 2 years back.

Q : Are your family okay with your career?
Heyden: I think so! My Mom first danced to my music when I was in Sierra Leone, which I actually recorded on video, it was fun!

Q : Most parents are quite strict and care about comments people make. What did your family say when they first saw Fit In Gbet video?
Heyden: You know I haven't seen my Mom since the video came out and I'm very happy because I'm really scared what she is going to say. Because she dislikes soft porn videos and women exposing themselves.

Q : In your lyrics you often refer to love, is there any Mr Right?
Heyden: Well, #1, I love Love because it's awesome and everybody should be in love because it's pretty awesome. I think mostly about love because that's what I want Sierra Leoneans to learn how to do.
Faithfully, to do music in Freetown is not like you are in it to get so much money.
We are doing it, so the next generation will have the opportunity to make money out of it.
There isn't money in the music market business. So if you teach self love, how to love people, start doing the honesty things and just love because when you love, you can't really do anything with that because you are thinking about somebody else order than yourself. That's my love message!

Q : Have you titled your album yet?
Heyden: You are the first one to know; the album is called Fit in Gbet.

Q : When is the official releasing?
Heyden: The album will be out this coming June

Q : I understand you are a model too and I can see from your photographs. Can you tell us about it?
Heyden: Modelling is fun but is not what I intend doing.

Q : Why?
Heyden: I can't really say! I was in it for a while that's why I've got so many pictures, I was getting paid and I am in a more professional path now.
It's a hard job but I am not giving it up because of that, I've made it a past obviously and if I want to do it, I could do it still even if they don't like me, I will make them like me.
I just want to focus more on music and take it seriously at this time but if there's photo shoots I really want to do, I will.

Q : You are residing in the US, how often do you visit Sierra Leone?
Heyden: For the past two years quite a lot. Last year I went like three times in six months.

Q : I watched a video where your mother mentioned “brother in-law”, are you married?
Heyden: Yes, I'm married but she was talking about the wrong guy then.

Q : To whom?
Heyden: To my husband, a Sierra Leonean and he's a very handsome fellow.

Q : Who are your industry friends?
Heyden: We have a really awesome group in Sierra Leone, very passionate people about music like Suga BAbizzySuper NovaSalone borbor and of course Jnice who is my producer, Texy and all those cool people. We are cool!

Q : What do you do in your free time?
Heyden: I write music, go out with my friends and a lot of rehearsals at the moment planning for the 50th anniversary event because right now I'm focused on music. Mostly, I'm on facebook talking to people.

Q : So how is it, do you already have your dancers you are taking along for your releasing in Sierra Leone or are they being organized down there?
Heyden: We're doing it down there and I still need to learn how to dance. *Laughs*

Q : Final message out there
Heyden: To all Sierra Leoneans, Africans, boys and girls, I could be doing this anywhere else but I want to do it back home because I love Africa very much and it's a very beautiful continent. One day the whole world is going to see it and I just want them to be true to themselves, be yourself and don't try to be anybody else because at the end of the day is you, you have to answer to.
