Petro de Luanda drew 2-2 on Sunday in Mbambane with Royal Leopard of Swaziland, in the first leg match of the penultimate eliminatory, qualifying for the group phase of the Cup of the Confederation of the African Football (CAF).
The stalemate opens good perspectives for Petro’s qualification for the next stage, who will receive the opponent in Luanda within 15 days for the second leg match.
Also for Confederation Cup, the Angolan team of Benfica de Luanda lost in Tunis to Etoil Sportive do Sahel by 0-1, while the national champions, Kabuscorp do Palanca were defeated by Al Merreikh of Sudan by 0-1 in Khartoum city, for the eliminatory qualifying for the group phase of the African Champions League.
