Famous South African Rapper Killed By Jealous Girlfriend

South African hip hop artiste, Nkululeko Habedi, better known as Flabba was stabbed to death by his partner in his Alexandra apartment yesterday, March 9, 2015.

The 38-year old is a member of the popular music boy group call 'Skwatta Kamp'.
The group which was formed in 1996 is known for hits such as uMoya and Clap Song.

The South African police service tweeted in th early hours that a woman, Sindisiwe Manqele was taken into custody following the fatal incident.

'#sapsGP CORRECTION Nkululeko Habedi, aka FLABBA, was stabbed & passed away; a woman is in custody (humble apologies for previous error) SD'

Siyabonga "Slikour" Metane fellow band member told enca: "I just got a call from his family. I will be on my way to his family’s home."

He did not provide any details about the death.

Flabba’s girlfriend, Sindisiwe, made a brief appearance at the Wynberg magistrates court this morning.

The court room was filled to capacity by journalists, camera crew and people who knew Flabba.

His sister and brother, was overcome with emotion throughout the proceedings.
Sindiswe’s lawyer further stated that she intends to apply for bail, while the state says it will oppose the bail application.

Court has been adjourned until 16 March when the accused will apply for bail.
