The new Secretary General of the International Francophone Organisation (OIF) and former Governor General of Canada, Michaëlle Jean is highly expected to be in Conakry.
This visit will take place from 23 to 24 March.
According to reports, she will be in the Guinean capital ahead of the celebration of the month of the Francophonie.
March 20 of each year is dedicated to the International Day of Francophonie. This day is celebrated in all countries sharing the French language.
The Francophonie has 85 Member States.
