Johnny McKinstry, former Sierra Leone Coach, has been shortlisted for the top
job in Rwanda, alongside three former Chelsea assistant coaches, Jose Morais, Turkish coach Engin Fırat and German Hans Michael
Weiss.
According to information reaching this medium, Johnny McKinstry was the latest to put himself forward for the vacant Amavubi manager’s job to replace Englishman Stephen Constantine who resigned in January 2015, according to a couple of sources with knowledge of the situation.
McKinstry who was sacked as head of Leone Stars, helped Sierra Leone reach the FIFA top 50 in the World, an achievement no other coach has achieved so far with Leone Stars. With such an achievement he is very confident of securing the job.
