The first deportation of a refugee from the garbage home during the midnight hour in Muellheim Baden, which is located in the South West of Germany was a terrible event as learnt from a source.Exclusively to NowLatest.com, the source said at 3.00AM in the night on the 16th of March, a young Gambian was collected from the mass accomodation by a police force who had him handcuffed like a criminal.
The asylum seeker was flown to Milan, where he was homeless because the local authority prevented him to lodge in a hostel and had to sleep on the street the very day.
Prior to the action, all refugees were placed in a hall that is usually used as a fitness gym, mainly for students. They were moved from the location into a hotel as temporal accommodation.
However, this has drawn the attention of the local Peace Council "Friedensrat Markgraeflerland", who are not in support of the decision. On Sunday, March 21st, the board launched a protest, which took place in the city center, hoping that there will be no deportations in the near future.
The asylum seeker were highly involved and few locals.
Anne-Katrin Vetter of the Peace Council turned to the refugees among the many participants and said:
"We see the fear in your eyes, we hear your stories. We are friends. Refugees from Eritrea, Nigeria, Gambia and other countries, we will try to do our best to ensure that you find a safe home here," she said.
"I do not know if we will manage to save you from this era, but we will not stand by when they come for you. Hand in hand, arm in arm,
for a colorful and justified human world. "
The Peace Council has also established a telephone hotline that residents can call should they hear anything relating to deportation.
Also the hotel 'Hotel Bauer' where they are staying right now has joined forces with Friedensrat Markgraeflerland.
Now everyone is praying for a breakthrough.
