Kelly Rowland, Husband and Son In April 2015 Issue Of Essence Magazine

After the tragic passing of her mother, Doris Garrison, this past December Kelly Rowland's joy of becoming a new mom and new wife were definitely clouded by the sad occasion. But with the support of her husband, family and friends, she has found the grace to go on. 

She tells ESSENCE magazine in her April 2015 cover story, “My road to happiness hasn't been an easy one. It hasn't been peachy all the time, but I am so, so happy…” 

But Kelly's taking her new roles quote seriously saying, "My priority is my husband first," she says, laughing. "That's how the baby got there."

ESSENCE's April issue featuring baby Titan Jewell Weatherspoon and husband Tim Weatherspoon hits newsstands this Friday.
