Malawi Achievers Awards 2015 Holding In United Kingdom

Malawi Association UK, organisers of the Malawi Achievers Awards have said that all is now ready and set for the grand showcase to take off with  a star studded artists lined up to perform at the magnificent Athena Hall In Leicester on March 28.
Organisers said everything is on the right lane for the night of glamour – the second edition of the red carpet affair – for Malawians in UK and friends of Malawi.

Secretary General of Malawi Association UK, Stephson  Mbewe and project director of the awards have confirmed the artist to perform.

They include Shaun Focus, Brave Mnyayi, Ireland based Pop Dogg, Dot and Darrl from Zimbabwe,  Young Boys Dancers from Scotland and Lungo.

The organisers said there will additional artists to be released next week which will included a headline star.
They say the headline artist and additional supporting artist will be disclosed after close of ticket sales this week to add flavour.
Despite keeping the headline artist wrapped up, Malawi music icon Lucius ‘Soldier’ Banda disclosed to Times TV and Daily Times that he was invited to perform at Malawi Achievers Awards and that he is processing his visa. 

The awards PR Director Thom Twee said the Malawi Achievers Awards is a landmark occasion and that second edition will be full of pomp with an after party at same venue up to the wee hours.

He said the organisers promised to deliver “ a first-rate and superb experience” for the patrons value for their three course dinner meal  and entertainment .
“It will be a Malawi night of fun and joy,” he said. 

Malawi Achievers Awards UK whose aim is to celebrate and recognise outstanding Malawian individuals and groups in the UK for their exceptional achievements and contributions to their respective communities both in the UK and in Malawi is a project of Malawi Association UK (MAUK) an umbrella body for all Malawians in the UK.

It is a family event that will accommodate children and will start at 6:00 pm prompt and will run through to 24:00 hours and thereafter there will be an after-party same venue.

Organisers are encouraging those who haven’t  bought tickets to do so this week, adding that anybody without a ticket will not be entertained and must not even make an effort to travel to the hotel without a ticket hoping to squeeze themselves in because they will be embarrassed.
