Sierra Leone - President Koroma recommends Ebola victim's partners should postpone sexual intercourse.

To fight the Ebola Virus Disease completely out of the country, Sierra Leoneans must be committed in every area, President Ernest Bai Koroma believes.

His new campaign includes,

survivors should refrain from having sex with their partners for at least 3 months, as the virus could be transmitted by an earlier intercourse.

Mothers who have suffered from the disease must avoid breastfeeding their babies.

There will be consequence if those warnings are not taken very seriously, because that could mean it's a deliberate act infecting others.

This came due to sudden case reports from Port Loko, Kambia and Koinadugu that had been previously Ebola free for weeks. Hence, there is no tangible source to where the virus came back from, suspicious lies in these areas.

According to the Awareness Times, a new Liberia case report says a victim got infected from having sex with her Ebola survivor partner. All that has spiced up the new law laid by the president.
