Connaught Hospital Received Dialysis Unit's Equipment From Israel - Sierra Leone News

With the backup of First Lady Sia Koroma, today was announced by the Ministry of Health and Sanitation that Israel's donation for Dialysis Unit in Connaught Hospital has arrived in the country.

Sia Koroma has been a strong body for this delivery, said MHS. The equipment was accompanied by a group of Israeli technicians, who aim to set up the clinic by ending of this month (February 2015).

Dr. Baratt Yosef, team leader at the Israeli Cooperation, Foreign Affairs Ministry in Jerusalem, said training will be provided to hospital staffs, on how to operate the Dialysis Unit. He is hopeful to finish the setup process latest March next month.

Additional equipment are expected from neighboring country, Liberia.
