The opening ceremony includes, President Ernest Bai Koroma, Bank of Sierra Leone Governor Momodu Kargbo, Minister of Labour and Social Security Mr Martin Theambo, Paramount Chief Fullah Manssa Gbereh II, UTB ccting chairman board of director Haja Ajaratu Mahdi and as well the CEO at Union Trust, James Sanpha.
The President and Mr Sanpha have a long standing relationship and he was moved by the latest development. Read his praise to the founder below!
"He has shown lots of initiatives in advancing the banking industry in Sierra Leone, and mind you the UTB is not government owned, although indigenous. Personally, I have participated in the opening of many branches of UTB and I think this is a big achievement that we should all be proud of as Sierra Leoneans"
