Special Session of the National Political Dialogue Council (CNDP): "The discussions were fruitful, full of friendliness and fellowship," says SE. Brigi Rafini.

Chaired by the Prime Minister, who is the president,  for the National Council Political Dialogue (CNDP) was in special session yesterday afternoon.
There was the menu of this meeting, which was held in the banquet room of the Prime Minister, the issues of the functioning of the CNDP, the representation of political opposition parties: the case of CDS Rahama, and NMSS Nassara ; the draft law amending and supplementing Law No. 2014-03 of 15 April 2014 on the creation, allocation, organization and functioning of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC); the draft decree on the organization, functioning and powers of the permanent general secretariat of INEC; the status of the preparation of the general elections 2015-2016: local, parliamentary and presidential.

Opening the works by the Prime Minister, HE. Brigi Rafini, welcomed the massive presence of the participants and noted that the CNDP had not met for some six months. After reading the agenda, a closed session that lasted 16 hours at 21:40 started. "The discussions were fruitful, full of conviviality and fraternity", welcomed the Prime Minister, SE. Brigi Rafini. Four points were mainly seen in the discussions, summarized the Prime Minister.

This is the first issue of the functioning of the CNDP. In this regard, SEM. Brigi Rafini said the participants at the meeting pledged to work together to improve the functioning of the CNDP in which they found some malfunctions. They also agreed to revitalize the Permanent Secretariat of this body or restructure it. Internal regulations should come in the shortest possible time and CNDP participants also stressed the need for the regularity of its ordinary sessions.
