Sierra Leone - A Group of Policemen yesterday fired tear gas into a mass of people to disperse the crowd as they got violent with each other over a food supply that was distributed by the authorities in Freetown.
In addition, the police said to Mr Josephus Olu-Mama and Mr Umaru Fofana the lockdown order was ignored because there was ongoing announcement that they must ensure water and food are available during the Ebola 3-Day movement ban in Sierra Leone.
However, it is said that the very poor homes ran out of food stock and there was no source of feeding.
The lockdown from March 27th to the 30th, the President hopes to trace hidden Ebola Virus infected people with a door-to-door visit by government health workers and voluntary staffs.
