Jamaica Root singer Bushman comes to Africa

Looking at his picture tells you he is familiar to where his going. Bushman will make his first visit to the east African country of Kenya next week for three shows. He will have a two times performance in Nairobi and another show in Kimusu city.

The 42-year-old root artiste will be making his third trip to the continent which has become a happy hunting ground for dancehall and reggae acts in the last 10 years. In 2010, he played Côte d'Ivoire. In December, he performed in Lagos, Nigeria.

“Africa calls, what can I say? This year wi celebrate 20 years as a artiste an’ we’d a really like do Africa more,” said Bushman.

He is also completing Conquering Lion, his first album since 2011’s Bushman Sings the Bush Doctor, his tribute set to Peter Tosh.
The new set is scheduled for released in May
