In the letter that was left at the office of the Independent Media Commission for delivery, Leigh withdrew the false accusation of a love relationship that was then published on his newspaper.The letter reads..
"Dear Dr. Sylvia Blyden and Rev. Kabs-Kanu,
our attention has been drawn to a publication of Friday 6th February 2015 which badly
offended Dr. Sylvia Blyden and Rev Kabs Kanu and for which we kindly tendered an apology.
Also, we unreservedly retract the offending article in its entirety that was published on the
front page and page 3 respectively.
We also want to assure the IMC that such a publication will not be repeated in the future."

On February 23, the Independent Media Commission suspended numbers of newspapers involved, with regards to the report.
According to Cocorioko website, the written apology will be published on three different times in the Independent Observer and also Leigh will retract the story against Rev. Kanu and Dr. Blyden.
