Sports Ministry And NSC Lifts Suspension On 4 Players And 11 Officials - Sierra Leone

The Ministry of Sports and National Sports Council (NSC) have on Tuesday 10th March 2015 lifted the alleged match fixing suspension on 4 players and 11 officials.

The 2014 match fixing allegations relate to a Nations Cup qualifier against South Africa in 2008, which ended goalless.

The Ministry and National Sports Council said in a statement addressed to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) scribe says that with immediate effect from Tuesday March 10th 2015, the Ministry has decided to lift the suspension of the following officials until further notice in connection with the Match fixing allegation.

The 15 are as follows, Abu Bakarr Kabba, Christian Caulker, Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo, Ibrahim Kamara, Samuel Barlay, Abdul Hamid Kanasieu Rollings, Alhaji Nasiru Deen Othman, Morrison Sannoh, Abdul Kabia, Sheriff Newland, Bernard Sorbeh, Alimamy K Foot Turay, Alphan S Koker, Victor Lewis and Rodney Michael.
